Blackwork Lightning Finger Tattoo
A bold compact lightning bolt makes a sharp small tattoo above the knuckle line.
Free · no sign-up · PNG
10 reviewed designs · 1 placement
Finger tattoos are usually 0.5 to 2 inches, which leaves little room for shading or crowded detail. Simple symbols, short marks and open linework stay clearer at that scale. They are always visible and sit on skin that moves and wears heavily, so an artist should confirm line spacing before tattooing. The current hand Builder safe area ends above the knuckle line and does not cover the fingers themselves. Use the clean design to choose a compact silhouette, and read the hand-back preview only as a small-piece scale reference for the knuckle area. Designs are previewed on the hand back template.
Builder placements: Hand. Every piece opens in Remix or enters the Builder as the matching reviewed asset.
Read the silhouette first, then check how the same lines sit on the suggested body area.

Placement decides scale. Pick the finger design whose silhouette matches the space you actually have, then leave enough skin around it for the next piece.
Measure the gap
Check the on-skin preview against your own finger: a design that fills the whole area leaves no room for a patchwork neighbour.
Match the direction
Vertical pieces follow the limb; round emblems sit on joints and centerlines. Rotate the design in the Builder until it reads naturally on the finger.
Keep negative space
Patchwork works because each piece stays separate. Keep at least a finger of clear skin between this design and the next one.
